•
Prevent harness/vehicle belt from getting trapped between car doors or rubbing against
sharp parts of the seat or body.
•
If the harness/vehicle belts becomes cut or frayed, replace it before travelling.
•
Periodically inspect the harness of wear, paying particular attention to attachment points,
stitching and adjusting devices.
•
If the vehicle has been left in the sun for a long time, check the seat cover and make sure it
is not too hot before placing the child in the child car seat.
•
Security is only guaranteed if the child car seat is fi tted in accordance with these instructions.
•
Failure to comply with the above instructions will automatically void the warranty and exempt
Britton from any liability.

Store this car seat in a safe place when it is not being in used. Avoid placing heavy objects
on top of it. Do not allow your child car seat to contact with corrosive substances e.g. battery
acid.
NOTICE:
1. This is a "Universal" child restraint .It is approved to ECE Regulation No.44.04 series of
amendments, for general use in vehicles and it will fi t most, but not all, car seats.
2. A correct fi t is likely if the vehicle manufacturer has declared in the vehicle handbook that the
vehicle is capable of accepting a "Universal" child restraint for this age group.
3. This child restraint has been classifi ed as "Universal" under more stringent conditions as
those which applied to earlier designs which do not carry this notice.
4. lf in doubt, consult either the child restraint manufacturer or retailer.
This child restraint is only suitable if the vehicle is fi tted with a type approved 3 point with retrac-
tor safety belt, in compliance with standard UN / ECE Regulation No.16 or other equivalent
standards.
