Connect the device to the mains with the power-plug.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The operatorhas to makesurethat safety-relating and machine-technical installationsare inspectedby an
expertaftereveryfouryearsin the courseof an acceptance test.
Theoperatorhas to makesure that safety-relating and machine-technical installationsare inspectedby a
skilled person once a year.
The following points have to be considered during the inspection:
All screwsusedfor installingthe devicesor partsof the devicehaveto be tighlyconnected and mustnot

be corroded.
2) There must not be any deformations on housings.fixationsand installationspots (ceiling,suspension,
trussing).
Mechanically moved partslikeaxles, e yesand'others must n otshow anytraces Of w earing (e.g.material

abrading or damages) and must not rotate with unbalances.
4)" Theelectricpowersupplycablesmust not showany damages,materialfatigue(e.g. porouscables)or
sediments. F urtherinstructions dependingon the installationspot and usagehaveto be adheredby a
skilled installer and any safety problems have to be removed.

Disconnect from mains before starting maintenance operation!
We recommend a frequentcleaningof the device.Pleaseuse a moist,tint-freecloth. Neveruse alcoholor
solvents!
Theinteriorof the deviceshouldbe cleanedat leastannuallyusinga vacuum-cleaner or an air-jet.
There are no serviceableparts insidethe deviceexceptfor the lamp.Maintenance and serviceoperations
are only to be carried out by authorized dealers.
Please refer to the instructions under "Installing/Replacingthe lamp".
Should you need any spare parts, please use genuine parts.
If the powersupplycableof this devicebecomes damaged, i t hasto be replacedby authorized dealersonly
in order to avoid hazards.
