Switching On and Off
Turn the small knob immediately above the
indicator in a clockwise direction. This
switches the radio on, indicated by a red
signal in the window above the knob. To
switch off, turn the knob counterclockwise.
Volume Control
Control the volume by the left-hand knurled
disc below the carrying handle. Turn the
_ disc to the right to increase the volume, to
the left to decrease the volume. The lower
the volume, the longer the life expectancy
of the batteries. The life of the batteries is
appr. 200 hours for intermittent operation,
but this depends to some extend on the
listening level.
Waveband Selection
Depress the corresponding button of the
waveband on which you wish to listen.

Station Selection
To tune in to any one of the stations
covered by the vertical dial (L, Ki, M, U,),
use the lower large tuning conirol. This:
contro! incorporates the GRUND!IG Duplex
Drive Mechanism, whereby you can tune to
an FM station without altering the tuning on
any one of the AM wave bands and vice
versa.
Dial Hlumination
Use the red button to the left of the wave
band buttons for temporary dial illumination
at battery operation.
Marche/Arrét
Pour allumer le poste, tournez le petit
bouton immédiatement au-dessus de
l'indicateur, dans le sens des aiguilles d'une
montre, Un indicatif visuel rouge dans fa
fenétre au-dessus. apparait. Pour éteindre,

Puissance
"Régler sur la puissance ciésirée en tournant
le disque molétte au-dessus de la
poignée a gauche. En tournant ce disque
dans le sens invers des aiguilles d'une
montre, la puissance augmente. Il est
conseillé de régler le son a une puissance

Recherche des éemetteurs
Le fait par l'intermédiaire du grand bouton
en bas. Ce bouton se trouve relié a un
systéme d'entrainemient «duplex»
_
permettant de commuter d'un émetteur FM
sur un émetteur AM sans que le réglage FM
soit déplacé (et vice versa).
Eclairage du cadran
En appuyant sur la touche rouge a gauche
jes cadrans sont éclairés temporairement
lors du fonctionnement sur piles.
