Transport urządzenia
Aby zapobiec uszkodzeniu urządzenia w czasie transportu,
należy zabezpieczyć wszystkie elementy wewnątrz i wokół
urządzenia.
Urządzenie można przewozić wyłącznie w pozycji pionowej
– nie nachylać go pod kątem większym niż 30°.
Po ustawieniu urządzenia na miejscu pozostawić je na
około 30 minut przed podłączeniem do zasilania.
Jeżeli w trakcie transportu urządzenie zostało przechylone
o ponad 30°, przed podłączeniem do zasilania pozostawić
je w pozycji pionowej na co najmniej 4 godziny.
Utylizacja
Urządzenia oznaczone powyższym symbolem
należy utylizować osobno, a nie wraz ze zwykłymi
odpadkami z gospodarstwa domowego.
Urządzenia takie zawierają bowiem cenne
materiały, które można poddać recyklingowi. Odpowiednia
utylizacja takich urządzeń pomaga w ochronie środowiska i
zdrowia człowieka. Szczegółowych informacji na ten temat
udzielają lokalne władze lub sklepy prowadzące sprzedaż
detaliczną.
∙ Przed utylizacją urządzenia należy wyciągnąć wtyczkę
sieciową z gniazdka i odłączyć ją od urządzenia.
∙
Czynnik chłodzący isobutan (R600a) i
materiał pędny w cyklopentanie izolacji

) są substancjami łatwopalnymi,

dlatego należy je odpowiednio utylizować.
∙ Należy zapewnić, aby rury obwodu chłodzącego nie

Before using for the fi rst time
∙ Remove any exterior and interior packaging materials
completely, including the adhesive strips.
∙ Please ensure proper disposal of all packaging
materials.
∙ Clean the appliance as described in 'Cleaning and
Defrosting (Maintenance)' described.
∙ Before it is connected to the mains, the unit must be
thoroughly checked for transport damage, including its
power cord.
∙ The unit should only be transported in its vertical
position; do not tilt any more than 30°.
∙ Once the unit has been positioned, wait for about 30
minutes before it is connected to the mains.
∙ If the unit has been tilted more than 30° during transport,
allow it to stand upright for at least 4 hours before it is
connected to the mains.
∙ When the unit is fi rst switched on, a slight 'new' smell
may be noticed. However, this will disappear once the
cooling process has begun.
∙ Before you put food into the appliance, let it work for 1
hour so that the target temperature can be reached.
Installation
∙ The appliance should be set up in a well-ventilated, dry
room.
∙ It should be operated in conditions where the relative
humidity is no more than 70 %.
∙ For the ambient temperature at which the appliance can
be operated, please refer to the device data at the end
of the instructions.
∙ Do not use the appliance outdoors.
∙ Ensure that the plug is accessible and can be removed
from the wall socket at any time.
∙ Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight, and
do not position it next to any heat sources (radiators,
cookers etc). If this cannot be avoided, however, a
suitable insulation must be in installed between the heat
source and the unit.
∙ The unit must not be installed inside a cabinet, nor
directly below a hanging cupboard, shelf or similar
object .
∙ Do not place any objects on top of the unit, and do not
otherwise cover it.
∙ If the fl oor is uneven, the height-adjustable feet at the
front of the unit can be used to compensate and ensure
optimum stability.
Ventilation
Ensure that there is enough space around the unit so that
the air circulation round and behind it is not obstructed.
(Rear 7.5 cm, sides 10 cm, top 10 cm.)
Reversible door
∙ If required, the door may be reversed, i.e. from right-
hinged (default installation) to left-hinged.
∙ Warning: Always disconnect the unit from the mains
before any maintenance or repair work is carried out.
∙ Tools required:
∙ 8 mm combination spanner
∙ Cross-head screwdriver
∙ Flat-tip screwdriver

Carefully remove the upper hinge blind cover (2).

Use a suitable combination spanner to remove the
two screws (3) holding the upper hinge to the housing.
Then lift off the hinge (4).

Carefully lift up the door and place it on a soft surface
to protect it from scratches.

4. Remove the blind cover for the hinge mounting
holes (1) on the opposite side of the appliance and fi t
it in the corresponding holes on the hinge side. Ensure
that the cover is fi rmly pushed down into the holes.

Tilt the appliance slightly backwards.
6.
Remove the two screws (6) on the lower hinge plate
(5) and take the plate off.
7.
Remove the left adjustable foot (7) and screw it back
on the opposite side of the appliance.
8.
Install the hinge plate with the hinge pin facing up on
the other side (use the left hole in the hinge plate). Do
not yet tighten the screws!
9.
Put the appliance back in its upright position.
10. Replace the door in its new position. Ensure that the
hinge pin is inserted into the guide bushing (hole) on
the lower part of the door.
11. Install the upper hinge on the closed door. Ensure that
the hinge pin is inserted into the guide bushing (hole)
on the upper part of the door. Caution: Do not yet
tighten the screws.
12. Adjust the closed door to its proper position and
tighten the screws of the upper and lower hinge plates.
13. Replace the hinge cover on the upper hinge.
14. Put the unit back in its intended position and wait for
about four hours before connecting it to the mains.
