INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Thank you for purchasing this product. Please read the instructions carefully before
using your KMC-47GPSD.
PRECAUTIONS
• Use the KMC-47GPSD with transceivers which incorporate the GPS function.
• Do not expose the speaker/ microphone to long periods of direct sunlight, nor place it close to
heating appliances.
• Do not drop the speaker/ microphone; strong impacts can damage the internal components.
• Do not over stress the speaker/ microphone cable by pulling on it with excessive force.
• Keep the speaker/ microphone earphone jack cap (located on the bottom of the speaker/
microphone) in place when not in use (3.5 mm diameter, 16 Ω impedance).
• Keep the transceiver's universal connector cap in place when the speaker/ microphone is not
connected.
GPS FUNCTION
• The KMC-47GPSD has a secondary battery to backup the built-in pinpointing data. When the
secondary battery is charged, the transceiver will retain the pinpointing data (the last positional
information) for approximately 20 days. (When used for the first time, it takes approximately 10
hours to fully charge the secondary battery.)
• When the secondary battery is in the discharged state, pinpointing data returns to its initial value.
When the positional information is at its initial value while turning on the transceiver, the life cycle
of the secondary battery is considered.

PRECAUCIONES
• Utilice el KMC-47GPSD con transceptores que incorporen la función GPS.
• No exponga el micrófono/ altavoz a la luz directa del sol durante periodos prolongados de tiempo, ni lo
coloque próximo a calefactores o estufas.
• No deje caer el micrófono/ altavoz; de sufrir fuertes impactos, los componentes internos podrían resultar
dañados.
• No tensione excesivamente el cable del micrófono/ altavoz, tirando de él con demasiada fuerza.
• Mantenga colocada la tapa del jack del micrófono/ altavoz (situada en la parte inferior el micrófono/
altavoz) cuando no esté utilizando el jack (3,5 mm de diámetro, impedancia de 16 Ω).
• Mantenga colocada la tapa del conector universal del transceptor cuando el micrófono/ altavoz no esté
conectado.
FUNCIÓN GPS
• El KMC-47GPSD dispone de una batería secundaria para preservar los datos de precisión integrados.
Cuando la batería está cargada, el transceptor conserva los datos de precisión (la información de posición
más reciente) durante 20 días aproximadamente. (Cuando la batería secundaria se utiliza por primera vez,
tarda 10 horas aproximadamente en cargarse.)
• Cuando la batería secundaria está descargada, los datos de precisión vuelven a sus valores iniciales.
Cuando la información de posición recupera sus valores iniciales, compruebe el límite de la batería
secundaría.

Vielen Dank für den Kauf dieses Produkts. Bitte lesen Sie die Anleitung gründlich durch, bevor Sie
das KMC-47GPSD verwenden.
VORSICHTSMASSREGELN
• Das KMC-47GPSD ist für den Einsatz an Transceivern mit GPS-Funktion vorgesehen.
• Setzen Sie das Lautsprecher-Mikrofon keiner längeren Sonneneinstrahlung aus, und wählen Sie keine
Position in der Nähe von Heizgeräten.
• Lassen Sie das Lautsprecher-Mikrofon nicht fallen: Starke Stoßeinwirkung kann die internen Komponenten
beschädigen.
• Überdehnen Sie das Anschlusskabel des Lautsprecher-Mikrofons nicht durch zu starke Zugbelastung.
• Lassen Sie die Abdeckung für die Kopfhörerbuchse (an der Unterseite des Lautsprecher-Mikrofons)
aufgesteckt, wenn die Buchse nicht benutzt wird (3,5 mm, Impedanz 16 Ω).
• Lassen Sie die Abdeckung für den Universalanschluss am Transceiver aufgesteckt, wenn das
Lautsprecher-Mikrofon nicht angeschlossen ist.
GPS-FUNKTION
• Das KMC-47GPSD ist mit einer Sekundärbatterie zur Pufferung der internen Schnell-Lokalisierungsdaten
ausgestattet. Bei geladener Sekundärbatterie hält der Transceiver die Schnell-Lokalisierungsdaten (die
letzten Positionsinformationen) ca. 20 Tage lang gespeichert. (Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme dauert es ca.
10 Stunden, bis die Sekundärbatterie vollständig geladen ist.)
• Wenn die Sekundärbatterie entladen ist, werden die Schnell-Lokalisierungsdaten auf ihren Anfangswert
zurückgesetzt. Wenn die Positionsdaten beim Einschalten des Transceivers ihre Anfangswerte
angenommen haben, muss die Lebensdauer der Sekundärbatterie überprüft werden.

PRÉCAUTIONS
• Utilisez le KMC-47GPSD avec des émetteurs-récepteurs qui disposent de la fonction GPS.
• N'exposez pas le microphone à haut-parleur aux rayons directs du soleil pendant une période prolongée,
ne le placez pas non plus à proximité d'appareils de chauffage.
• Ne faites pas tomber le microphone à haut-parleur ; de forts impacts peuvent endommager les composants
internes.
• Ne soumettez pas le câble du microphone à haut-parleur à des efforts excessifs en tirant sur ce dernier
trop fort.
• Maintenez le cache de la prise du microphone à haut-parleur (situé en bas du microphone à haut-parleur)
en place lorsqu'elle n'est pas utilisée (3,5 mm de diamètre, 16 Ω d'impédance).
• Maintenez le cache du connecteur universel de l'émetteur-récepteur en place lorsque le microphone à
haut-parleur n'est pas raccordé.
FONCTION GPS
• Le KMC-47GPSD est muni d'une batterie secondaire pour sauvegarder les données de repérage
intégrées. Lorsque la batterie secondaire est chargée, l'émetteur-récepteur retient les données de
repérage (les dernières informations de positionnement) pendant environ 20 jours. (Lorsque la batterie
secondaire est utilisée pour la première fois, environ 10 heures sont nécessaires pour la charger
complètement.)
• Lorsque la batterie secondaire est déchargée, les données de repérage reviennent à leur valeur initiale.
Lorsque les informations de position se trouvent à leur valeur initiale pendant la mise sous tension de
l'émetteur-récepteur, le cycle de vie de la batterie secondaire est pris en compte.

PRECAUZIONI
• Utilizzare il KMC-47GPSD con ricetrasmettitori che integrano la funzione GPS.
• Non esporre il microfono/vivavoce per periodi prolungati di tempo alla luce diretta del sole e non
posizionarlo in prossimità di apparecchiature per il riscaldamento.
• Non far cadere il microfono/vivavoce; i forti impatti possono danneggiare i componenti esterni.
• Non sollecitare eccessivamente il cavo del microfono/vivavoce tirandolo con forza eccessiva.
• Inserire il cappuccio sul microfono/vivavoce (che si trova nella parte inferiore del microfono/vivavoce)
quando non in uso (diametro 3,5 mm, impedenza 16 Ω).
• Inserire il cappuccio per connettore universale del ricetrasmettitore quando il microfono/vivavoce non è
collegato.
FUNZIONE GPS
• Il KMC-47GPSD è dotato di una batteria secondaria per il back-up dei dati integrati di posizionamento.
Se la batteria secondaria è carica, il ricetrasmettitore conserva i dati (l'ultima informazione di posizione)
per ca. 20 giorni. (Quando si usa per la prima volta, sono necessarie circa 10 ore per caricare del tutto la
batteria secondaria).
• Quando la batteria secondaria è scarica, i dati di posizionamento tornano al valore iniziale. Quando le
informazioni di posizione si trovano al valore iniziale all'accensione del ricetrasmettitore, si considera la
durata della batteria secondaria.

VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN
• Gebruik de KMC-47GPSD met zendontvangers die de GPS-functie bevatten.
• Stel de luidspreker/microfoon niet langdurig bloot aan direct zonlicht en plaats deze niet in de buurt van
verwarmingsapparatuur.
• De luidspreker/microfoon niet laten vallen; door de val kunnen interne onderdelen beschadigd worden.
• Niet te hard aan de luidspreker/microfoonkabel trekken.
• Wanneer u de luidspreker/microfoon niet gebruikt, het kapje (aan de onderkant van de luidspreker/
microfoon) niet verwijderen (3,5 mm diameter, 16 Ω impedantie).
• Wanneer de luidspreker/microfoon niet is aangesloten, de stekkerkap van de zendontvanger niet
verwijderen.
GPS-FUNCTIE
• De KMC-47GPSD heeft een tweede batterij als reserve voor de ingebouwde pin-pointinggegevens.
Wanneer de tweede batterij wordt geladen, behoudt de zendontvanger de pin-pointinggegevens (de
laatste positionele informatie) gedurende ongeveer 20 dagen. (Wanneer u deze voor de eerste keer
gebruikt, duurt het ongeveer 10 uur voordat de tweede batterij volledig is opgeladen.)
• Wanneer de tweede batterij leeg is, worden de pin-pointinggegevens teruggezet op hun beginwaarde.
Wanneer de positionele informatie op de beginwaarde is bij het aanzetten van de zendontvanger, telt de
levenscyclus van de tweede batterij.
