Connect pre-configured accessories
► Observe the installation instructions in the operating instructions for the relevant accessory.
► Note the existing configuration of existing connections and control lines.
► Connect only matching accessory devices to the electronic drive unit.
► Connect only matching accessory devices to "Accessory A".
► Use the free connection of the Y-connector if you want to connect 2 devices to "Accessory A".
Using additional accessories
► Observe the installation instructions in the operating instructions for the relevant accessory.
► Note the existing configuration of existing connections.
► If configuration is necessary, use a Pfeiffer Vacuum control unit.
5.7 Connecting the electrical supply
Danger to life from electric shock
Touching exposed and voltage-bearing elements causes an electric shock. Improper connection of
the mains supply leads to the risk of touchable live housing parts. There is a risk to life.
► Before the installation, check that the connection leads are voltage-free.
► Make sure that electrical installations are only carried out by qualified electricians.
► Provide adequate grounding for the device.
► After connection work, carry out an earthed conductor check.
5.7.1 Grounding vacuum pump

● Screw M4 × 8
● Tooth lock washer M4, if required
● Suitable grounding cable with cable lug size M4
Accessory connection to the electronic drive unit for operation with TMS
The electronic drive unit on the turbopump offers space for connecting a maximum of 2 ad-
ditional accessory devices. M12 sockets with the designation "accessory" are available for
this purpose. Accessory connection "B" on the electronic drive unit is assigned to the con-
trol unit for the TMS.
● Additional accessories for turbopumps with a temperature management system can
only be used at accessory connection "A".
● The accessory connections are preconfigured ex works for operation with TMS.
