In the event of a foreseeable power failure, you can activate the
FREEZING MODE
both the fridge and freezer to the lowest temperatures so that the interior of the
appliance is maximally cooled at the time of the power failure.
NOTICE! In an event of a power failure, do not open the door so your
food can remain in the appliance for « X » hours (« X »: see chapter

In order to protect the compressor of the appliance from damage in the event of
a short-term power failure (i.e., less than 5 minutes), the compressor is not started
immediately after the power supply is restored, but only after a certain time has

5.8 The fridge

The fridge is not intended for storing food for a longer period of time. So, use the
fridge for short-term storage only. Different temperature areas due to the air
circulation occur in the appliance. Use these different temperature areas to store
different kinds of food.
