25 • Slide a washer onto the screw and insert it into
the corresponding holes to connect the bucket
to the loader arm. Slide a second washer onto
the screw, then insert the nut. Tighten with a
screwdriver and pliers. Repeat on the opposite
side.
26 • Install one of the two cross pieces onto the front
part of the loader arms, as shown in the figure.
27 • Fix with the two screws provided (one for each
side).
28 • Insert the second cross piece onto the rear part
of the loader arms.
29 • Fix with the two screws provided (one for each
side).
30 • Put the handle in place as shown in the figure;
the picture in box A shows the CORRECT
position of the lower tab, which should be
inserted into the slot of the loader arm; the
picture in box B shows the INCORRECT
position.
31 • Insert a nut into the hexagonal hole on the inner
part of the handle. Insert a screw onto the
opposite side.
32 • Fix the handle into place by tightening the
screws. Repeat on the opposite side.
33 • Insert a stud into the cavity on the right side of
the bucket, lining up the respective holes.
34 • Remove the elastic tying the metal tension rod
to the lever.
35 • Place the control lever of the loader vertically
and, pressing hard, attach the tension rod to the
bucket.
36 • Place the loader onto the tractor.
37 • Fix the rear part of the loader, as shown in the
figure.
38 • Insert a large washer into the conical washer
bearing as shown in the picture. Put the iron pin
into place, and with the help of a hammer, insert
it into the washer.
39 • Line up the loader holes with those of the cab
and insert the pin.
40 • Place a stud on the opposite side of the pin,
without using any tools.
41 • Complete the attachment of the pin using the 2
washer bearings provided, pressing the 2 parts
hard and simultaneously. Apply the stickers.
42 • To open the battery compartment, lower the
handle completely, detach it and rotate the black
pin of the cab by 180° and lift.
43 • Connect the battery plug to that of the system.
Close the battery compartment, taking care that
the side parts of the cab are on the outside, and
secure by turning the black pin by 180°. The
vehicle is ready for use.
FEATURES AND
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
44 • GEAR SHIFT LEVER. The vehicle has three
speeds. ATTENTION: when it is removed from
the packaging, the vehicle only travels in first gear
and in reverse. To use 2nd gear, see figure 45.
45 • Remove the screw in the second gear lock (fig.
A). Turn the lock to the next position (fig. B).
Screw the lock back on. All gears are now
available.
46 • ACCELERATOR PEDAL/ELECTRIC BRAKE. The
brake will automatically be applied when the foot
is lifted off the pedal.
47 • FM RADIO: To switch on, off and adjust the
volume turn knob A. To select the radio stations
press the two triangular buttons (see figure).
48 • LOADER: To lower the loader, push the handle
forward as far as it will go.
49 • To raise the loader, pull back the handle and lock
into place.
50 • To turn the bucket forward, pull back the side
lever. Release the lever to return the bucket to
the starting position.
REPLACING THE BATTERY

REPLACEMENT AND CHARGING PROCEDURES
DESCRIBED.
51 • Open the battery compartment, as shown in
before. Disconnect the battery power plugs.
52 • Unscrew the two screws of the battery holder
and remove it as shown in the figure. Extract the
battery.
53 • If you possess or have purchased a 12V/12Ah Peg
Perego battery, you should remove the plastic
filler (A) by slipping it off the battery holder.
54 • Put the new battery into place with the battery
holder, taking care to insert it sideways into the
false motors housing; fix the battery holder in
place with the two screws.
55 • Connect the battery and electrical system plugs.
Close the hood by repositioning the lock, as
shown before.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
WARNING: BATTERY CHARGING AND EVERY
OTHER OPERATION ON THE ELECTRICAL
SYSTEM MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY ADULTS
ONLY. THE BATTERY CAN ALSO BE CHARGED
WITHOUT REMOVING IT FROM THE TOY.
56 • Insert the battery charger plug in a domestic
power socket in accordance with the
instructions enclosed with it. Connect plug B
with the battery charger plug C. When the
battery is charged, remove the battery charger
from the domestic socket, then disconnect plug
C from plug B.
57 • Fully insert plug B into plug A, ensuring that they
click together. Insert the battery holder. Once
finished, always remember to close and lock the
lid of the battery compartment.
How to use the battery charger
WARNING
1 • Insert only lead acid batteries supplied by PEG
PEREGO.
2 • Do not use with non-rechargeable batteries.
Risk of explosion.
3 • For adult use only. It is not a toy. This
appliance is not intended for use by infirm
persons unless they are being adequately
supervised by a responsible person to ensure
that they can use the appliance safely.
4 • Do not use with damaged sheathing, cable or
connector.
5 • Charge the battery only in a well ventilated area.
6 • Do not remove the plug by pulling on the cable.
7 • Do not drag the vehicle along on its wheels by
pulling the battery charger's cable.
8 • Avoid overheating the cable by covering it and do
not rest it on hot surfaces.
9 • Be aware of how the output cable is wound to
prevent damaging it.
10 • Should the battery charger be damaged, do not
use it until it is fully repaired.
11 • The product contains some elements that are
considered harmful to the environment. Disposal
of these elements or of the entire product at the
end of its life should be in accordance with the
regulations in force in the country where it is
used.
12 • Before using the battery charger make sure that
it is fitted with the specific plug for the country in
which it is going to be used.
13 • Children should not play with the battery charger
as IT IS NOT A TOY.

plugged into the power outlet, ready for charging.

CHARGING THE BATTERIES
WARNING! Before using the toy, charge
the battery for at least 18 hours.
A) Plug the battery charger into a power outlet that
complies with the specifications on its label
B) Connect the terminal on the battery charger to
that on the battery, using the appropriate
connectors.
C) Your battery charger is provided with an LED
indicator which means that:
1) When plugging in the charger as described in A)
with no battery connected, the LED will
light up to indicate that the device is working
correctly.
2) Connect the battery as described in section B). If
everything is connected correctly and the battery
is flat, the LED will start blinking, indicating that it
is charging. Wait until the battery is fully charged.
3) When the battery is fully charged, the LED will
stop blinking. A steady LED indicates that the
battery is now fully charged.
4) If the battery is already charged, the LED will be
steady. If during the next use, the battery doesn't
last long, contact the customer service to verify
whether the battery and battery charger are
working properly.
D) Once the charge is completed and the LED is on,
unplug the battery charger from the mains outlet
first,then the battery terminal. Connect the
battery to the electrical system of your toy, which
is now ready to use.
The battery charger is fitted with a safety device
which means that in the event of overheating or a
short circuit of the battery, a protection system will
intervene to prevent current peaks, which could
damage the battery charger.
In this case unplug the battery charger
from the power outlet, remove the cause
of the short circuit and reconnect
everything as described in sections A) to
C).
