III. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before the first use, wash the parts that will be in contact with food in hot water with
detergent, rinse thoroughly with clean water and wipe till dry, or let dry. A short mild
emission of smoke may occur, this is not a defect and is no reason for complaint. Now the
appliance is ready for use.
Assembly of the individual parts
Assemble the fryer according to Fig. 1. Remove the container A2, pulling it out of the body
of the fryer A. Then slide the container back in the opposite into the body of the fryer
Button functions
B1 – ON/OFF/PAUSE button – after pushing the button in the stand-by regime, the deep
B2 – M=MODE switch – after pushing, one of the pre-defined 8 programmes is set,
B7 – temperature/time increase – after short pushing, the temperature / time is increased by
B8 – temperature/time decrease – after short pushing, the temperature / time is increased
B9 – temperature/time setting – after short pushing, setting the temperature or time.
Scope of temperature setting 80 – 220 °C / 40 – 80 °C, time 1 – 60 min. / 2 – 9 hours.
Auto shut off after 10 min. selected operation is not confirmed by pressing the button.
Frying
Place the assembled fryer on a flat surface (e.g. kitchen table) at the height of at least
85 cm, out of reach of children. Fill the container with the desired ingredients (NEVER fill
any frying pot more than 1/2 full) and assemble the whole fryer properly. Connect the plug
of the A6 power cable to the mains. All symbols light up shortly. They subsequently fade
away and only the B1 button symbol remains lighted up.
