Nach dem Gebrauch
Nach jedem Gebrauch den Ein-/Aus-Schalter (5) für eine
Sekunde drücken, um das Gerät auszuschalten.
Temperaturrestanzeige
Solange das Gerät nicht vom Stromnetz getrennt wird, leuchtet
nach dem Ausschalten die LCD-Anzeige noch rot und zeigt das
Abkühlsymbol [F]. Erst wenn die Temperatur unter 60 °C abge-
fallen ist, schaltet sich die LCD-Anzeige aus und Sie können das
Gerät ohne jegliche Gefahr berühren.
Reinigen
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser ein.
Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch und trocknen
Sie es mit einem weichen Tuch nach.
Änderungen vorbehalten.
Das Gerät darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht mit
dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Die Entsorgung kann
über den Braun Kundendienst oder lokal verfügbare
Rückgabe- und Sammelstellen erfolgen.
Garantie
Als Hersteller übernehmen wir für dieses Gerät – nach Wahl des
Käufers zusätzlich zu den gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsan-
sprüchen gegen den Verkäufer – eine Garantie von 2 Jahren ab
Kaufdatum. Innerhalb dieser Garantiezeit beseitigen wir nach
unserer Wahl durch Reparatur oder Austausch des Gerätes
unentgeltlich alle Mängel, die auf Material- oder Herstellungs-
fehlern beruhen. Die Garantie kann in allen Ländern in Anspruch
genommen werden, in denen dieses Braun Gerät von uns
autorisiert verkauft wird.
Von der Garantie sind ausgenommen: Schäden durch unsach-
gemäßen Gebrauch, normaler Verschleiß und Verbrauch sowie
Mängel, die den Wert oder die Gebrauchstauglichkeit des
Gerätes nur unerheblich beeinflussen. Bei Eingriffen durch nicht
von uns autorisierte Braun Kundendienstpartner sowie bei
Verwendung anderer als Original Braun Ersatzteile erlischt die
Garantie.

rated residual operating current not exceeding

• This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with

Colour Saver Technology
Colour Saver Technology with satin ions maintains the precious
health of colored hair as it protects your hair from dry out and
damage and prevents moisture loss of coloured hair by up to
50%* while styling. As satin ions are released onto your hair a
slight crackling noise can be heard.

radiantly vibrant for longer.

Getting started
• Connect the appliance to an electrical outlet and push the
«on/off» button (5) for 1 second to turn it on.
• During heat up, the display turns orange/red. The appliance is
delivered with a default setting for normal hair, medium. The
thermometer symbol is flashing [A] as long as the temperature
for the displayed setting is not reached.
• After approx. 30 seconds, the display turns green to indicate
that you can start using the appliance. As soon as the tem-
perature for the selected setting is reached, the thermometer
symbol stops flashing.
• Personalized settings: Using the hair type selectors (3), you
can adjust the temperature for fine, normal and thick hair.
Within each hair type, you have the choice between a low,
medium and high setting.
• When changing the hair type setting, the display turns orange/
red and the thermometer symbol flashes again. When the
display turns green, you can go ahead with styling.
• «boost» function: For handling difficult hair strands, you can
instantly increase the operating temperature by pushing the
«boost» button (4). For 20 seconds, the appliance will increase
its temperature by 20 °C with the backlight flashing.
Afterwards, the appliance switches back to the previously
selected temperature.
