Adapting the upstream fuse /transformer options

 Air/ water heat exchangers with 230V / 115 V do not have any transformer options. Therefore, adaptation of the
upstream fuse is not necessary.

Operation of air/ water heat exchangers

▪ After connection of the mains voltage, the unit switches to startup/test mode or directly to operating mode.
▪ The fan functions constantly when the door contact is closed or bridged.
 The fan switches off when the door is open.
 The solenoid valve regulates the cooling water flow in accordance with the set switch cabinet nominal
temperature (Tsoll). The switch cabinet nominal temperature (Tsoll) is set with the thermostat.
• Factory setting: 35°C/ 95°F
• Setting range: 8°C/ 46.4°F to maximum 50°C/ 122°F
The solenoid valve regulates as follows:
▪ Switch cabinet interior temperature is greater> than the set switch cabinet nominal temperature (Tsoll).
Solenoid valve: Open
Coolant: Flows
▪ Switch cabinet interior temperature is lower< than the set switch cabinet nominal temperature (Tsoll).
Solenoid valve: Locked
Coolant: Isn't flowing
Operating conditions
NOTE
Condensate flowing back into the switch cabinet can damage the electronics
Internal temperatures below the dew point or damaged switch cabinet seals cause excessive accumulation of
condensate.
➢ Regular inspection of the seals assures protection against heavy condensate accumulation.
➢ Ensure that the accumulating condensate can drain freely.
The mains voltage must lie within the specified range; see
 A deviation of ± 10 % is permissible.
The rated frequency must be within ± 3 Hz of the value specified.
The ambient temperature must be below 55 °C. For further options, see
Technical data.
 Only use air/ water heat exchangers in such a manner as to ensure that the specified cooling capacity is able to
meet actual demands.
