Trimming Long Hair
Use the hair trimmer on the rear of the shaver to shorten beard and sideburns.
1. Take off the protective cap.
2. Push the hair trimmer upward.
;
3. Use the on / off switch
(4) to switch on the shaver.
4. After use, switch off the shaver, push the hair trimmer into its basic
position and clean the shaver (→ 06. Cleaning and Care).
Three-day stubble shave
1. You can use the 3day stubble attachment (7) to trim your beard to a hair
length of 3 mm.
2. Place the beard attachment onto the shaving head so that it is firmly
attached to it.
3. Trim your beard as you would normally do when shaving.
NOTES:
Observe that the 3day stubble attachment is intended only to limit the
beard hair growth to a length of 3 mm, and that it is not designed to trim
longer hair to 3 mm.
When using the 3day stubble attachment, the direct contact of the shaving
foil to the skin is lost. Consequently, the shaving system is no longer naturally
"greased" by sebum.
4. To ensure constant shaving performance, apply a drop of blade or sewing
machine oil after wet cleaning. See section "Cleaning with Water".
