To do this, remove the sealing caps on the
feed (23) and return connectors (24).
2.4 Installation
BHC 175
If connected to the central heating system,
the heat carrier medium must be drained
first as described
before..
A Take the dimensions for drill holes from
the illustration of the BHC, depending on the
customer's existing water connections, and
mark out on a wall with sufficient load-bear-
ing capacity. Observe minimum distances!
Install wall distance pipe (12) with enclosed
raw plugs Ø8 mm (19) and screws 5 x 40
(13) depending on the construction of the
wall.
Push the spacers (15) into the wall distance
pipe and screw into position with the ad-
justing screw M4 x 10 (14) (do not tighten).
Position the radiator with the two upper
cross-pipes on the upper spacers and secure
in position on the spacers by means of the
clamp (16) (M5 x 30 screw, 17).Then fix at
the bottom in the same way as at the top.
Line up the radiator (push spacers into wall
bushes), tighten the adjusting screws in the
wall bushes at the top and put caps (18) on
the clamps.
If connected to the central heating system,
connect it to the feed- (23) and return
connectors (24).
Connect a thermostatic valve to the flow
pipe connection.
Bleed the radiator via valve (25) while filling.
Plug in the mains plug (22).
BHC 175 L
If connected to the central heating system,
the heat carrier medium must be drained
first as described
before..
A Determine the dimensions of drill-holes
according to the fixing bolts (26) or deter-
mine it from the dimensional drawing of the
BHC-L and mark it on a sufficient load-car-
rying wall, depending to the existing water-
connection-points. Beware the minimum
distances!
Install the mount-hook (20) depending to
the wall construction with suitable mount-
ing materials, e.g. with enclosed raw plugs
Ø8 mm (19) of and screws 5 x 40 (13).
Hang the radiator on the retaining hooks
with the fixing bolts (26).
Push caps (21) with "marking ridge upward"
onto the fixing wall (appliance is fixed).
If connected to the central heating system,
connect it to the feed- (23) and return
connectors (24).
Connect a thermostatic valve to the flow
pipe connection.
For a water connection from below or the
right side of the equipment accessories are
attached, fitting to the unit :
two 90°-elbow unions (31) and
– two extensions, one of 180 mm- (28)
and another of 130 mm-extension (29)
for the connection from below or
– a 50 mm extension (30) for the connec-
tion from the right side of the unit.
Bleed the radiator via valve (25) while filling.
Plug in the mains plug (22).
Electrical connection
The appliance must be connected to
AC 230 V ~ 50/60 Hz only.
A socket must be installed at a distance of at
least 10 cm to the side of the heater for the
purpose of the connection.

2.5 Initial start-up
When it is started up for the first time, you
may notice a smell which is caused by any
manufacture-related residues on the radiator.
2.6 Hand-over
Explain the functions of the appliance to the
user. In particular, draw his or her attention to
the safety instructions. Hand over the operat-
ing and installation instructions.
