This standard covers the safety of dust extractors with electric motors, including dust separators and back-pack vacuums, used
for wet extraction, dry extraction or wet-and-dry extraction, supplied for commercial use indoors and for outdoor use with and
without accessories for the collection of combustible dust in an atmosphere (Zone 22) designated as explosive.
WARNING
The machine is equipped with a Hot surface sticker and is located at the engine exhaust to indicate that there
may be a warm surface.
CAUTION
Note that the machine is not left unattended and should be switched off on the machine switch or the plug is
separated from the mains voltage.
CAUTION
The machine contains hazardous dust. Emptying and maintenance operations, including removal of the dust
extraction container, must only be carried out by qualified personnel who must wear appropriate protective
equipment. Do not use the unit without the entire filter system in place.
