Cleaning the detergent drawer
1. Open the detergent drawer (lift it up slowly) and remove the siphon by lifting it up as
shown in Figure 20.
2. Wash the detergent drawer and the siphon with tap water or clean them with a brush.
3. Refit the detergent drawer and the siphon.
-
It's possible for some detergent to get into the drum when removing the detergent drawer.
This is normal.
-
To avoid spillage, make sure that no water, detergent, or softener is left in the detergent
drawer before removing it.
Defrosting
Do not expose the washing machine to temperatures below 0°C, as this may affect its operation
and the lifespan of its parts. Should you notice frozen parts, follow the below procedure:
1. Turn off the washing machine and unplug the power cord.
2. Pour hot water over the tap to loosen the water inlet hose.
3. Disconnect the water inlet hose and immerse it in hot water.
4. Pour hot water into the drum and leave it for about 10 minutes.
5. Reconnect the water inlet hose to the tap.
Please note
1. When resuming use of the washing machine, make sure that the ambient temperature is
above 0°C.
2. If the washing machine is located in a room where it can easily freeze, thoroughly drain the
remaining water inside the drain hose and water inlet hose.
3. Refer to a technician if the washing machine freezes. If the washing machine still does
not work after the above procedure, please contact the official Cecotec Technical Support
Service.
