• Only operate appliance and accessories in dry condition – especially the grill
plate and the electric connections must be absolutely dry.
• The appliance must be fused via a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) who-

... the cord is designed for continuous loading of at least 16 A.
... the cord is connected via a properly installed safety plug with safety

• This appliance is not designed for use with charcoal or other fuels!
• Observe the following when setting up the appliance:
Place the appliance on a heat-resistant, stable and even surface (no varni-
shed surfaces, no table cloths etc.)
Place it out of the reach of children.
Leave a ventilation distance of at least 20 cm to all four sides and 1 m to the
top in order to prevent damage caused by heat or fat splatters and to grant
that your work area is unobstructed. Ensure a free air circulation.
Never operate the appliance in the vicinity of heat sources (ovens, gas fl ame
etc.) or in explosive environments where fl ammable liquids or gases are loca-
ted.
Caution – Risk of fi re! This appliance is not intended for installation into
worktops.
• Do not use the appliance as space heater.
• For a safe cut-off pull the mains plug after each use.
