Safety informations
- The voltage indicated on the nameplate must correspond to the
available mains voltage.
- Only operate the unit when completely assembled!
- The device must be operated on a flat, stable surface, not higher
than 800 mm.
- Position the mains cable such that no danger of tripping is possi-
ble in order to avoid throwing, or pulling the unit over.
- Do no push objects through the guard. Any loose objects which
could be sucked in are to be removed from the suction area before
switching the fan on. Keep loose clothing, such as scarves with
fringes, away from the guard.
- The units are never be touched when having wet or moist hands.
The units are never be used if you are barefooted.
- Never immerse an electrical device in water or other liquids.
- Do not use an extension cord that has not been tested and certified
by the authorities or a qualified technician.
- Do not expose the device to harmful environmental influences
(rain, strong sunlight, etc.).
- To unplug the power cord from the outlet, pull on the plug and not the cord.
- Switch off the device and pull the plug when not in use, prior to
cleaning, and when moving the fan to a different location.
- Do not use the device in locations where it could fall or be knocked
into water. Never reach for the device if it falls into water. Turn off
the power at the circuit breaker immediately and then pull the plug.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understands the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manuf-
acturer or its service agent or a similar qualified person in order
to avoid a hazard.
