Note:
Connect your tool to an extraction unit or vacuum
cleaner. This will provide excellent extraction of
chips and dust.
Caution!
For health safety reasons it is imperative that you
use a dust extractor.
5.4 Changing the sanding heads (Fig. 5-8/
Item 7/8)
The sanding heads are interchangeable and
can be swapped over to account for the specifi c
surface in each case.
•
For large surfaces: Round sanding head (7)
•
For corners and edges: Angular sanding
head (8).
To swap over the sanding heads, proceed as
follows.

1. Pull the locking lever (a) and push it to the left.
2. Pull the round sanding head (7) down and off .

3. Fit the angular sanding head (8) from below.
As you do this, make sure that the guides (b +
c) line up.
4. Push the locking lever (a) back to the right to
secure the sanding head.
Important!
If the sanding head does not engage immediately,
use the supplied wrench (d) to align the two
connections with each other as shown in Fig. 7.
Important!
You can turn the angular sanding head (8)
through 360° as shown in Fig. 8.
•
To do so, press the button (e) and turn it to
the left to release the turning function.
•
Turn the sanding head (8) into the most
comfortable position for you.
•
Press the button (e) again and turn it to the
right to lock the turning function again.
5.5 Fastening the grinding/sanding paper
(Fig. 9)
The hook-and-loop fastener enables easy
changing of the abrasive paper. Make sure that
the vacuum extraction holes on the abrasive
paper and the sanding head are aligned.

6. Operation
6.1 Switching the equipment On/Off (Fig. 10/
Item 1/2)
Switching on:
•
Move the on/Off switch (1) to I ->Display
shows 00
•
Select the speed level from 01 - 06 by
pressing the + or - button on the speed
controller (2)
Switching off :
•
Move the ON/OFF switch (1) to 0
6.2 Working with the drywall power sander
•
Place the whole surface area of the sanding
head on the material.
•
Switch on the machine and move it with
gentle pressure over the „workpiece", making
circular or transverse and linear movements.
•
Use a coarse grit for coarse sanding and
a finer grit for finish sanding. You can find
the best grit size for the job by carrying out
sanding tests.
Caution!
The dusts which are formed while the equipment
is being used may be a health hazard:
•
Always wear safety goggles and a dust mask
during sanding work.
•
All persons who work with the equipment or
enter the workplace must wear a protective
dust mask.
•
Eating, drinking and smoking are prohibited
at the workplace.
•
Paints containing lead are not allowed to be
used!
6.3 Swiveling sanding head
The sanding head can be swiveled in two axes,
enabling comfortable sanding even overhead and
in tight spaces.
7. Replacing the power cable
Danger!
If the power cable for this equipment is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
after-sales service or similarly trained personnel
to avoid danger.
