Vacuuming with vacuum container
1.
Put the food to be preserved into the vacuum jar (25).
2.
Put on the vacuum lid (24) and close the vacuum jar.
3.
Connect the vacuum hose to the vacuum valve (23) at one end and to the air
intake opening (18) at the other end. Press the "Vacuum" button (1) on the
appliance.
4.
Press the vacuum valve (23) to release the air before opening the lid.

ADVANTAGES OF VACUUM SEALING

Vacuum-packed food keeps better and longer in the fridge or freezer than food in
air-filled packaging. Some foods can also be cooked/heated by placing the sealed
bag in a bowl of water or in the microwave. When cooking food in the microwave,
poke holes in the bag with a fork to allow the steam to escape. It is also possible
to seal/vacuum seal items such as personal papers, medicines etc. for travelling,
camping or sailing so they do not get wet.
