SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Make sure that the appliance is switched off before inserting the plug. Unplug
the appliance when you are not using it or before cleaning it.
• Make sure that children do not play with the appliance and keep it out of their
reach.
• Only use the appliance as described and only use the accessories supplied.
• If the power cord or plug are damaged, they must be replaced by the
manufacturer, an authorised specialist company or a similarly qualified
person.
• Do not touch any parts that move during operation.
• Do not attempt to repair the device yourself.
• Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or damaged.
• Do not pull on the cable or carry the appliance by holding the cable. Do
not run the cable under doors or along sharp table edges. Do not use the
appliance with a wet cable or mains plug.
• Do not place the appliance near heat sources such as stoves or heaters.
• If possible, do not use an extension cord. If you do use one, make sure that
the ampere rating of the connected appliance does not exceed the maximum
ampere rating of the power cord.
• Do not pull the plug out of the socket by the cable; instead, hold it securely
with your hand while unplugging it.
• Do not touch the device or the plug with wet hands.
• Place the appliance on a stable surface, e.g. a table or worktop.
• The unit does not need to be lubricated with lubricating oil or other lubricants.
• Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
• Children over 8 years as well as mentally, sensory and physically impaired
persons may only use the device if they have been informed in detail about
the functions and safety precautions by a supervisor responsible for them
beforehand and understand the associated risks.
• Make sure that children do not play with the device.
• If the power cord or plug are damaged, they must be replaced by the
manufacturer, an authorised specialist company or a similarly qualified
person.
• Children may only clean the appliance under supervision.
• Keep the instructions in a safe place for future reference.
