Montage (Abb. 1)
Der Glasbruchmelder überwacht ebene Glasflächen innerhalb eines Radius von max. 2 m.
Anschlusseitig kann der Glasbruchmelder unmittelbar am Fensterrahmen befestigt werden.
Damit ein Ablösen der Klebestelle deutlich erkannt wird, sollte er jedoch mit einem Mindest-
abstand von 5 mm in waagerechter Lage montiert werden. Längsseitig muß der Abstand zum
Rahmen mind. 20 mm betragen. Nicht einsetzbar auf: Strukturglas, Drahtglas- oder Verbund-
glasscheiben, folienbeklebte Glasscheiben. Die Glasscheibe muß in einwandfreiem Zustand
sein, darf keine Sprünge aufweisen und muß ordnungsgemäß eingekittet sein.
Achtung: Der Glasbruchmelder ist hochempfindlich. Beklopfen oder andere unsach-
gemäße Behandlung können zur Zerstörung führen.
Der Glasbruchmelder muß mit dem Klebeset 317/734 der Firma LOCTITE befestigt werden,
Herstelleranleitung beachten. Der Keramikboden des Glasbruchmelders und die vorgesehene
Klebestelle der Glasscheibe müssen gereinigt und entfettet werden (z.B. mit Spiritus oder
Methylalkohol).
Wichtig: Jeder Fremdkörper, der sich zwischen der Aufnehmerplatte des Glasbruch-
melders und der Glasscheibe befindet, beeinträchtigt die Empfindlichkeit.

Installation (Fig. 1)
The glass break detector monitors level glass surfaces within a maximum radius of 2 m. On
the connection side, the glass break detector can be installed directly onto the window frame.
To ensure that the removal of the adhesive surface is clearly detected, the glass break detec-
tor should be installed horizontally at a minimum distance of 5 mm. The long side must be at
least 20 mm from the frame. Do not use on: structured glass, wired or laminated glass panels,
or glass panels with adhesive sheets. The glass panel must be in perfect condition, have no
cracks and be puttied correctly.
Warning: The glass break detector is very sensitive and may be destroyed through
tapping or other improper handling.
The glass break detector must be installed using adhesive set 317/734 from LOCTITE. The
manufacturer's guidelines must be followed. The ceramic base of the glass break detector and
the adhesive surface of the glass panel provided must be cleaned and degreased (for exam-
ple, with spirit or methanol).
Important: Any foreign bodies between the glass break detector sensor plate and
the glass panel can negatively affect the sensitivity.
