Using
The vacuum cleaner works with 12 V DC only and it is intended to be used
in a cigarette lighter socket in a car, boat or camp mobile.
Do not switch the unit on if the filter (C) is not inserted.
1. Press the release button (E) to unlock the dust container (D) from the
motor unit. Tilt the dust container downwards.
2. Make sure the filter is securely inserted.
3. To assemble the vacuum cleaner, first place the slotted opening (G) of
the dust container into the hook of the motor unit. Lift up the unit until
the release button is correctly locked.
4. Make sure the on-board voltage is 12 V DC. Insert the cigarette lighter
plug of the coil cord (A) into the 12 V cigarette lighter socket.
5. Press and hold the ON/OFF push-button (B) pressed in order to start
vacuuming. Never pick up liquids, burning or glowing objects.
Please note that the automobile battery will discharge when using the unit.
After using the unit for more than 6 hours, (depending on size and
charging state of the battery) you might have trouble in starting the engine.
Empting the Dust Container
1. Remove the plug from the cigarette lighter socket.
2. Press the release button (E) and tilt the dust container (D) down.
3. Tip dirt over a rubbish bin.
4. To remove the filter (C), turn the filter out. The filter has an elastic
band. If necessary, blow out the filter or rinse under running water.
Allow the filter to dry fully before inserting it into the vacuum cleaner
again.
5. When reinserting the filter, make sure the elastic band is completely
around the filter frame.
