Inserting and Removing the Battery

The battery is provided with temperature control. Charging process is guided by this
temperature control. The control only works at ambient temperature between 0° and
45°C. Place the battery into the base under the handle of the saw, as shown. Make
sure the battery (7) can be inserted into the base without resist. Do not force the
battery. If the battery is inserted as far as possible, the locking button snaps audible. To

Charging the Battery

Before using the saw, charge the battery. For the next time, charge the battery only if
the battery is spent, i.e. if the power obviously slows down. Otherwise the battery
cannot achieve full capacity. A new battery achieves full capacity after several charging
and discharging cycles.
Connect the power cord of the charger with a wall socket. Insert the battery in the
charger. The red indicator lamp turns on. Make sure the battery can be inserted without
resist. Do not force it. During charging the battery and the charger become warm.
After charging the charger automatically switches off and the green indicator lamp turns
on. Remove the battery and disconnect from power mains.
Wood dust can be harmful. Wear a dust mask while using the saw.
