12. Pressing-in procedure
12.1 Preparation
The pressing-in procedure is described here by way of an example and applies similarly
for other pressing-in tasks.
Mount the component (e.g. flange) together with the part to
be pressed in (e.g. bushing, shaft sealing ring) and the
press-in tool on the force-measurement device
0 986 612 878.
Important!
Before switching on the manual indicator ensure that the force
pickup is connected to the manual indicator.
Switch on the manual indicator using the On/Off switch (1) on
top of the device.
Firstly, all the characters on the display are shown and then the
program version.
Ignore the displayed numerical value.
12.2 Sequence
Press the tare key [ T ] as often as it takes until the light emitting diode
[ Tara ] goes on and the display shows [ 000.0 ].
(000.0 = 000.0 kN)
Press the peak value key [ S ] once.
The light emitting diode [ MAX ] goes on.
The display must show [ 000.0 ].
If the display shows a value other than [ 000.0 ], press the mode key
[ MODE ] once.
This causes the peak value function memory to be deleted and [ 000.0 ] is
shown in the display.
