
• To prevent power interruptions during extended use of USB bus power, power the PC using
an AC power supply.
• Use only self-powered USB hubs (self-powered hubs supply their own power via an AC
adapter).
• Use double shielded cable for making connections to eSATA connectors.

Attaching the Silicone Jacket

When using the unit as a stand-alone external device, slip the
unit into the supplied silicone jacket to protect its connectors.
