Product Overview

Philips' Operating Room (OR) ECG Trunk Cables are used in
combination with a compatible ECG patient leadset, to monitor patient
ECG in an electrosurgery (ESU) environment. The OR trunk cables can be
used with adult, pediatric, infant, and neonatal ECG applications.
Both OR trunk cables (3-lead or 5-lead) are identified by their orange
color and are reusable on a different patient after cleaning and
disinfection. Both cables are 2.7m long, support both AAMI and IEC
leadset color coding, and have a 12-pin round male instrument connector
at the monitor end and IntelliVue leadset connector with special "OR
keying" at the patient end. "OR keying" at the patient end assures that the
OR trunk cable can connect only to a leadset that has a compatible "OR
keyed"connector.
Compatible ECG Leadsets
The OR trunk cables are compatible with all DIN connectors (e.g. hard
wired electrodes), as well as single-patient-use leads, plus any Philips
ECG leadset that has an "O" imprinted above the Philips logo on its
connector (see example for this type of leadset below).
