Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
Make sure the mains voltage corresponds to the type label on the
appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. Keep out of reach of
children or persons in need of supervision.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid or place it into
the dishwasher. Do not use the appliance with wet hands.
Never place the appliance near or on hot surfaces.
Please switch off the appliance and unplug from the power supply before
cleaning or when not in use.
Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry place.
Use the accessories only with the feeding carriage and the food retainer,
unless the size and form of the food does not permit the usage.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot
get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do
not bend it.
Only use this slicer for cooking applications. Only cut articles such as
cheese, boneless meat, bread and preparations. Never cut frozen food
with this slicer.
Never touch the blades. The blades are extremely sharp, be always very
careful when handling with the blades.
Please keep this appliance and his accessories clean at all times as they
come into direct contact with food.
Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in
these instructions. The appliance is not designed for continuous,
professional use.
Use only original spare parts which can be requested by Westfalia.
Should the appliance become damaged do not use it and have it repaired
by a professional or contact our customer support department. Do not
disassemble the appliance or try repairing it yourself.
