Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
 Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the machine.
 Please read the instruction manual carefully and do use the coffee maker with
timer only according to this manual.
 Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the coffee maker, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety
by a qualified person.
 Never leave the device unsupervised when in use. Keep out of reach of
children or persons in need of supervision.
 The device is not intended for continuous professional operation. The device is
intended to be used in closed rooms only and in similar applications such as:
staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farm
houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
bed and breakfast type environments. The use in any other way is not consid-
ered as intended use.
 Only use the provided accessories.
 Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid and do not use the
device with wet hands.
 Do not use the unit outdoors or near gas flames, hot plates or other hot
objects. Never place the unit on hot surfaces.
 Place the coffee maker on a level surface during use. Do not position the unit
in a sink or on inclined surfaces.
 Please switch OFF the unit and unplug it before cleaning or when not in use.
Let the coffee maker cool down before cleaning.
 Never move the unit by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught
in any way. Do not wind the cord around the unit and do not bend it.
 Do not conduct the cord over sharp edges and corners or hot surfaces. Never
pull the cord to unplug, but always grasp the power plug.
 Keep the coffee maker and the accessories clean at all times.
 Do not overfill the coffee maker. The respective marks on the glass carafe act
as measures for you. Always use the supplied carafe to fill the coffee maker.
