General Notes

For optimum results, it is important that the container (B) and the moulds (E)
are completely dry and free of water.
The used fruit or other food must be as dry as possible and water-free, in
order to prevent water from getting into the chocolate and to allow it to adhere
well.
If the chocolate being used will not flow sufficiently well, turn the selection
switch to position II.
If the chocolate being used is too thin and liquid, add a little chopped choco-
late. This will lower the temperature for some time.
In order to obtain a gentle shine on the chocolate, put some cocoa butter or
coconut butter into the container (B). Never add water to the chocolate.
You will get the best results at a normal room temperature of 20 °C.

Cleaning

Before each cleaning, pull out the mains plug and allow the appliance to
cool down completely!
Do not immerse the base housing (A) in water or any other liquid!
Clean the container (B), the moulds (E), the draining rack (F), the fondue forks
(H+J) and the fondue skewers (I) and the holder (K) with warm water and a
damp cloth after every use.
DO NOT clean any of the parts mentioned above in the dishwasher.
For cleaning the base housing (A), please only use a slightly damp rag. Leave
the appliance to dry completely before the next use.
For the protection of the surfaces, avoid the use of metallic or pointed objects.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning substances or anything similar for clean-
ing.
