7. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
Always pull out the mains power plug before starting
any cleaning work.
7.1 Cleaning
Cleaning the BIOCELL filter insert
(see Figures 7 - 9)
The filter must be cleaned with lukewarm water
whenever the delivery head or delivery rate
diminishes.
1. Pull the handle up to the stop point and out of the
filter housing.
2. Turn the pump slightly counterclockwise to
remove it from the filter.
3. Turn the top filter housing (3) clockwise to
disconnect it from the bottom filter housing (4)
(Figure 7). Unscrew and remove the base plate
from the filter bottom section (4) by turning it
clockwise (Figure 8). The filter is now
disassembled (Figure 9).
4. Clean the BIOCELL filter insert with lukewarm
water.
5. Assemble in reverse order.
Note:
In cases of heavy soilage, the filter inserts should be
removed, carefully rinsed with clear water several
times, and rung out.
Cleaning the pump (see Figures 10 and 11)
Clean the rotating parts of the pump at regular
intervals if you use water that contains lime.
1. Pull the handle up to the stop point and out of the
filter housing.
2. Turn the pump slightly counterclockwise to
remove it from the filter.
3. Turn the rotor cover on the bottom side of the
pump counterclockwise (Figure 10) and remove
the rotor (Figure 11).
4. Clean the rotor and pump with clear water and
assemble in the reverse order.
7.2 Maintenance
There are no parts inside the equipment which
require additional maintenance.

8. Disposal and recycling

The unit is supplied in packaging to prevent its being
damaged in transit. This packaging is raw material
and can therefore be reused or can be returned to
the raw material system.
The unit and its accessories are made of various
types of material, such as metal and plastic.
Defective components must be disposed of as
special waste. Ask your dealer or your local council.
