Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:

Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the unit.

Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.

Always use a socket earthed according to the regulations when operating the
frost guard.

Do not operate the frost guard in areas with fire hazard, such as garages,
stables or wooden shed. Do not use the unit in rooms in which highly
inflammable gases or dust can be formed. There is risk of burns!

When operating the frost guard, make sure the room does not contain
inflammable materials, e. g. petrol, solvents, spray cans, paints etc. Also
make sure that the unit is not operated in the vicinity of wood, paper, plastics
etc. Keep such materials away from the frost guard.

The frost guard is not a toy. Keep children away from the unit.

The frost guard becomes hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not touch hot
surfaces. Never cover the unit. There is risk of burns due to overheating!

When mounting the frost guard keep the minimum distances.

Always turn the frost guard off before unplugging it. Always pull on the plug,
not on the cord.

Do not operate the frost guard with a damaged plug or power cord or if the
frost guard itself becomes damaged, has been dropped or damaged in any
way.

Do not use the frost guard outdoors. The unit is not intended for use in damp
or wet locations.

When mounting the frost guard on the wall, do not hang it on wood panelling
or near wood ceilings. Only use the frost guard in a fixed position

Make sure that water cannot enter the interior of the frost guard. Do not touch
the frost guard with wet hands. There is risk of electric shock.

When connecting the frost guard to the power mains, make sure the power
plug is always easily accessible. Keep in mind that the unit is ready for use
even in the lowest stage of the thermostat. To switch off the frost guard, you
have to pull the power plug.

Should the unit become damaged do not use it and have it repaired by a
professional or contact our customer support department. Do not disassemble
the frost guard or try repairing it yourself.
