7. Entretien et nettoyage

Contrôlez périodiquement la sûreté technique de l'alimentation, par ex. si le boîtier
ou le câble d'alimentation ne présentent pas de dommages.
Si l'utilisation présente un danger, l'alimentation doit alors être mise hors service et
protégée contre toute utilisation involontaire. Retirez la fiche d'alimentation de la pri-
se de courant!
Une utilisation sans danger n'est plus possible si :
- l'appareil présente des dommages visibles,
- l'appareil ne fonctionne plus,
- l'appareil a été stocké dans des conditions défavorables
ou
- l'appareil a été transporté dans des conditions défavorables.
Avant de procéder au nettoyage ou à l'entretien de l'appareil, tenez impérative-
ment compte des consignes de sécurité suivantes:
Aucune pièce nécessitant un entretien ne se trouve à l'intérieur de
l'appareil.
Ouvrir des couvercles ou ôter des pièces peut avoir pour conséquen-
ce que des éléments sous tension ne soient plus protégés.
Avant tout nettoyage, entretien, remise en service, il faut absolument
déconnecter l'appareil de toute source de tension, retirez la fiche d'ali-
mentation de la prise de courant! Il ne suffit pas d'éteindre l'interrup-
teur d'alimentation!
Les condensateurs dans l'appareil peuvent conserver des charges,
même si l'appareil a été déconnecté de toute source de tension.
Une réparation ne doit être effectuée que par du personnel qualifié
connaissant les dangers éventuels et les prescriptions correspondan-
tes.
Le fusible intégré ne peut être remplacé qu'avec des outils spéciaux.
N'essayez donc jamais de remplacer vous-même le fusible; faites-le
effectuer par un atelier spécialisé.
Nettoyez l'extérieur du boîtier à l'aide d'un chiffon sec et propre qui ne peluche pas.
Afin d'enlever la poussière qui s'est déposée sur les hélices ou sur le couvercle du
ventilateur au bout d'un certain temps d'utilisation, éteignez l'alimentation ATX pour

If your main board has an appropriate connection join it to a 5.25" current plug of
the ATX Power supply unit via the adapter cable.
The ATX2.0 12 V terminal of the main board is used to additionally connect the
+12 V voltage to the main board via extra lines, which is intended to relieve the
load from the +12 V line of the ATX current plug.
• Connect all devices to appropriate current plugs.
• Properly install all cables in your PC in a straight way, taking care not to squeeze
the cables or otherwise damage them. Protect the cables from sharp edges in
your PC casing.
Cable fasteners of an adequate length allow to neatly fix the cables.
• Make a check as to whether the "Power" button switch located at the front
of your ATX casing is connected to the relative terminal on your main board.
This is because turning the computer on via the main switch does not cause
it to start up (but this function can possibly be activated/set in the BIOS of
the main board).
• Lock the casing of your computer by means of the screws and reconnect it to your
other devices and accessories.
• Connect your computer to the mains voltage and turn on the ATX power supply
unit.
• The computer normally will not start yet new. To start it, briefly depress the
"Power" button switch at the front of your ATX casing.
• If your computer does not start up correctly turn it off immediately and verify all
settings and cable connections.
Before opening the casing for a check do not fail to turn off all
devices and disconnect them from the mains voltage; extract the
mains plug; see above.

6. How to handle

Never turn on the power supply unit (or your computer in which the power supply
unit is installed) immediately after it has been brought from a cold into a warm room.
Condensation water that forms might destroy your device under unfavourable condi-
tions.
