Mounting The Unit; Operating As Heater Or Fan - Westfalia 59 22 79 Bedienungsanleitung

Before connecting the unit, consult the manual of your
vehicle to find out the maximum load of the cigarette lighter
socket! The unit can only be operated on a 12 V power
supply and must be protected by a 15 A fuse.

Mounting the Unit

1. First, detach the removable mounting base (3) from the unit by
sliding it off to the rear.
Stick one side of the included hook and loop strip on the
mounting base. Stick the other part of the strip to the desired
mounting area in your vehicle. Clean the surface before. Or
you can mount the base to any flat surface with the included
screws.
2. Then slide the heater onto the mounting base.
Attention:
 Please notice that the heater must not be in your field of vision.
And select a surface, from which the mounting base cannot be
detached when driving fast around a corner. When selecting a
place for the heater, pay attention that the heater must be able
to aspirate enough air. Otherwise the unit will overheat!
 Make sure the power cable cannot become entangled in the
steering wheel, the pedals or any other part relevant to the
operation of the vehicle.

Operating as Heater or Fan

1. After installation connect the power plug of the heater to the
12 V cigarette lighter socket of your vehicle. When the unit is
connected, the green LED (6) will light up.
