H) Recording Preparation - Conrad PDR-1 Bedienungsanleitung

The following settings are available for the selection:
Recording format (A)
A B C D
Three recording formats (WAV 16 bit,
WAV 24 bit, MP3) are available for the selection.
Sampling rate (B)
Different sampling rates are available for the
selection of each recording format. Higher the
selected sampling rate, better the quality of
the Audio-fi le. But a high sampling rate also
requires more disk space.
Following sampling rates are available for the
selection of the each respective recording for-
mat:
WAV 16 bit: 8 kHz, 16 kHz, 22 kHz, 32 kHz, 44 kHz, 48 kHz, 96 kHz
WAV 24 bit: 8 kHz, 16 kHz, 22 kHz, 32 kHz, 44 kHz, 48 kHz
MP3: 16 kHz, 22 kHz, 32 kHz, 44 kHz, 48 kHz
Repeat-Function (C)
Recorded or saved Audio-Files can be continuously played using the Repeat-function.
The following settings are available for the selection:
REP: The selected Audio-File is continuously played
RPT ALL: All Audio-Files are continuously played (only FOLDER 2)
ALL: The Audio-Files are fi rst played in sequence (only FOLDER 2)
Background lighting (D)
The duration of the background lighting can be continuously for 10 seconds, 20 seconds or
can be disabled.

h) Recording preparation

Prior to recording, the type of the externally connected device and the sensitivity of the integrat-
ed microphone must be set using the particular slide switch. Moreover, the place of recording
can be selected (internal memory/external SD-memory card and recording group).
