20. Connections
a) Front
• AV input, cinch sockets for video input (I) and audio input (J)
At this input (3 cinch sockets) you can, for example, connect a video camera with
AV output or a digital camera with video output. Switch to the input using the but-
ton "AV/TV" on the remote control (24).
• Headphone outpur, 3.5mm stereo jack socket (H)
Headphones can be connected here. The replay through the installed loudspeak-
ers is switched off thereby automatically.
If your headphones have different plug, you will require an adapater.
b) Rear
• Scart socket (P)
You can connect the suitable devices (e.g. a video recorder).
If necessary, for replay, it is necessary usin the button "AV/TV" on the remote con-
trol (24) to switch to the scart connection, the switch-over will take place possibly
through switching voltage automatically.
• S video socket (T)
For replay of DVDs or similar, the video abuts here, for example, for connection to
another TV set.
• AV output, cinch sockets for video output (T) and audio output (R, S)
For the replayi of DVDs, the video or stereo audio signal abuts here, for example,
for connection to another TV set.
• 5.1 digital output (coax), cinch socket (Q)
The high-quality 5.1 audio signal contained on most DVDs (front left, front right,
centre, back left, back right, subwoofer) can be transmitted through this output, for
example, to a suitable 5.1 amplifier or to a 5.1 loudspeaker set.
The output is only active when playing DVD, not for VCDs, SVDs, audio or MP3-CDs.
• Aerial socket (O)
Connect this 75-Ohm aerial socket to the aerial connection, for cable TV, for
example to the wall socket.
