Tips for the handling of CDs:
• Always pick up CDs by the edge to avoid fingerprints and contamination on the
surface.
• Always touch CDs with clean hands.
• If a CD is dirty, wipe it off with a soft. Lint-free cloth from the center to the edge.
Absolutely avoid circular movements when cleaning a CD. Never use solvents.
• In case of tenacious dirt, please use a customary CD cleaner (not a record cleaner)
and observe its instructions for use.
• Do not write on CDs or put stickers on them.
• Put the CDs back in their holders immediately after use.
• Do not expose CDs to direct sunlight, heat or dampness.
Disposal
Dispose an unserviceable system according to the relevant statutory requirements.
Environmental protection advice!
The end user is obliged (old battery regulation) to return all used
batteries and storage batteries (from round cell to lead storage
battery). Batteries are to be considered as special waste and the-
refore do not belong in the garbage bin.
You can return used batteries and storage batteries free of char-
ge to our subsidiaries as well as to our head office in Hirschau or
to local waste disposal companies obliged to take back batteries.

This Micro CD System is built state-of-the-art and safe to operate.
However, problems or failures might occur.
Therefore, we would like to explain how to eliminate failures.
The safety instructions must be adhered to!

(18) Touche SLEEP
Appuyer sur la touche pour activer la fonction SLEEP.
(19) Touche STANDBY / ON
Appuyer sur la touche pour allumer l'appareil ou pour le mettre en veilleuse (Stand-
by).
(20) Antenne ruban FM
L'antenne sert à améliorer la réception FM.
(21) Bornes haut-parleurs
Connecter ici les enceintes jointes.
(22) Cordon d'alimentation.
Fonctions de l'affichage à cristaux liquides (LCDisplay)
(23) Affichage REPEAT
L'affichage s'allume en mode lecteur CD quand la fonction de répétition (REPEAT)
est activée.
(24) Affichage STEREO
L'affichage stéréo s'allume quand le programme de radio est reçu en stéréo.
(25) Affichage REMAIN
L'affichage s'allume en mode lecteur CD quand on fait afficher la durée restante du
disque écouté en appuyant sur la touche MODE.
(26) Affichage TITEL
En mode lecteur CD, le numéro du titre écouté est affiché en clignotant. Après la fin
du titre, le numéro disparaît. Il est également possible de reconnaître sur l'affichage
quels titres n'ont pas encore été joués.
(27) Affichage OVER
L'affichage OVER apparaît en mode lecteur CD quand il y a plus de 10 titres sur le
disque choisi.
L'affichage OVER commence à clignoter quand un des titres supérieur à 10 est
écouté.
(28) Affichage PLAY
L'affichage PLAY s'allume pendant l'écoute d'un CD.
(29) Affichage MHz / KHz
Cet affichage indique la bande de fréquence choisie en mode radio.
