You must observe elementary safety precautions when using electrical appliances, especially when there are

Do not allow children to use the appliance unattended.
Check that your appliance has the same supply voltage as your electrical installation.
Your appliance is reserved exclusively for domestic use.
Do not use it in the bath or shower.
Always switch off the appliance after using it.
Do not use with wet or damp hands.
Do not vacuum inflammable or explosive substances (liquid, gas).
Do not vacuum incandescent waste (hot ashes, embers, etc.)
Do not vacuum water or any other liquid.
