• Remove the front cover. Remove it carefully from the housing by means of a screw driver. For
this, there are two indentations on the side where the screw driver can be applied.
• Fasten the motion and noise switch with suitable mounting material in a Ø68 mm flush-
mounted socket or wall-mount box (e.g. Conrad order no.: 624926).
• Replace the main fuse into your fuse box (in the case of screw lockings/ -automats) or switch
on the main fuse.
• When the motion and noise switch is supplied with voltage, it takes about 30 seconds for ini-
tialisation. Following that, the motion and noise switch is operational. As soon as motion is
detected, the LED lights up (behind the diffuser lens).
Performing the functional test
• Ensure that the motion and noise switch is disconnected from the voltage supply.
• Set the slider on the front side to the position "ON". Set the rotary knob to following setting
ranges: MIC > middle position, SENS > maximum, LUX > maximum, TIME > maximum.
• Switch on the voltage supply.
• Turn the slider on the front side to the position "OFF". After 30 seconds the LED should be
deactivated. All functions should be in the so-called stop mode.
• Turn the slider on the front side to the position "PIR". If a motion is detected, the motion and
noise switch activates the connected consumer load. During activation the LED lights up. After
preset reaction duration the consumer will be deactivated again. If no motion is detected, the
cause for this might be a wrong setting of the brightness level. In this case, adjust the rotary
knob "LUX" accordingly.
• Set the slider to position "PIR+MIC". Clap your hands. The motion and noise switch should
now activate the connected load. In this mode, the consumer load is activated in the event of
motion and noise detection and deactivated after passing the reaction duration.
Explanation of the setting controls
The setting controls are located under the front cover. In order to perform settings, remove the
front cover carefully using a screw driver.
SENS
By means of this rotary knob the sensitivity of the motion detection is defined.
TIME
With the rotary knob TIME you can define the reaction duration. The reaction
duration describes the time during which the consumer load remains activated,
starting from the time of a motion or noise detection.
Setting range: 10 seconds (+/- 5 seconds) up to max. 7 minutes (+/- 2 minutes).
LUX
Setting of the brightness sensitivity from approx. 3 lux up to daylight level.
MIC
With this rotary knob you can define at which sound level the connected
consumer load shall be activated.
Setting range: 30dB ~ 90dB
Changing the micro fuse
The motion and noise switch as an inbuilt, replaceable micro fuse at the rear (type:
F2.5AL250V).
Take out the main fuse from your fuse box (in the case of threaded/automatic fuses) or switch
off the main fuse before starting with the fuse replacement.
Put back the main fuse in your fuse box (in the case of threaded/automatic fuses), or switch on
the main fuse again only after replacing the fuse and installation of the flush-mounted socket or
wall-mounted box.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Apart from an occasional cleaning of the diffusion lens, this product is maintenance-free.
Please use a clean, lint-free, and dry antistatic cloth to clean the motion and noise switch. Do not
use abrasive or chemical agents, or cleaners containing solvents. Do not press too hard on the
diffusion lens.
Disposal
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household waste!
Please dispose of the device, when it is no longer of use, according to the
current statutory requirements.
