Connecting to a Computer
1. Ensure that the scanner is turned on.
2. Connect the USB cable to the scanner's USB port (9) and to an available USB port on a computer. The
scanner's display will show "USB".
3. The microSD card is automatically recognised as a drive.
4. Open the file directly from the microSD card or copy the files onto your hard drive.
5. Disconnect the scanner via the operating system before removing the USB cable from the scanner or the
computer.
Software for the processing of desktop pictures is included in delivery. Insert the CD-ROM into
the drive of your computer and follow the instructions. Further instructions can be found in the
program's help menu or on the website of the manufacturer:

8. Cleaning and maintenance

The product requires no servicing on your part aside from occasional cleaning. Use only a dry, soft cloth for
cleaning.

10. Disposal
Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.
(Rechargeable) batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechargeable batteries.
Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that disposal in the
domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium,
Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable) batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our stores or
wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

Solution
Clean the lens with a dry, soft
cloth.
Calibrate the sensor.
Scan the document again moving
the scanner more slowly than
before.
Turn the scanner on.
Check the cable connections.
Insert a microSD card as
described above.
Delete pictures from the microSD
card.
Format the microSD card as
described above.
