11.9 Monitor function

The monitor function allows you to bypass the squelch function.This might be useful
when the signal received is weak and the partner walkie-talkie keeps breaking up.
As a disadvantage, background noise is transmitted as well.
• Switch on the walkie-talkie.
• Press the "S" button or the "F" button until "Mon" is displayed
and press the "Enter" button to activate the monitor function.
• Press the "Enter" button again to deactivate the monitor func-
tion.

11.10 Activate/deactivate handover audio signal

When the "PTT" button is released, a confirmation beep indi-
cates to the other walkie-talkie partners that you are done trans-
mitting. This function can be activated or deactivated.
• Switch on the walkie-talkie.
• Press the "S" button or the "F" button until "Rog" is displayed
and press the "Enter" button to go to settings mode.
• Press buttons "S" or "F" to select "ON" (activated) or "OFF"
(deactivated).
• Press the "Enter" button again to deactivate the monitor func-
tion.
