Setting the Pole
Depending on the soil the pole can be set with or without
drilling a pilot hole with a depth of 30 cm. Be very careful
when exerting pressure on the unit. Excessive pressure
may destroy the unit.
Insert the pole vertically into the soil. Do not beat with a
hammer or similar on pole.
The best performance with the mole chaser will be
achieved after operating the mole chaser for up to 7 days
continuously. The ground rodents need some time to
recognize the mole chaser and start to move away from
this area.
Maintenance
The batteries have a life expectancy of 4 – 6 months. Check
the proper function of the mole chaser from time to time.
To replace the batteries, repeat the steps in the chapter
"Inserting the Batteries".
Cleaning and Storing
The mole chaser is rain proof, but not water jet proof or
water-tight. Please remove the mole chaser when using
high-pressure cleaner in the vicinity of the chaser or
when flooding is expected.
To avoid damages due to freezing, remove the mole
chaser in winter.
