• Press the "F" key (6) until "BEEP" flashes on
the display.
• Press the "UP" or "DOWN" key until
"BEEP" and "OFF" appear on the display.
• To store this setting, keep the "ENTER" key
pressed or switch the device off and on
again.
Energy saving function
The energy saving function works automatically when the device is
operating. If the device does not receive any signal for longer than
5 s, the walkie-talkie switches to energy-saving mode which cuts
its power requirement by roughly 50% in order to achieve a longer
standby time.
Battery charge indication
As soon as the battery charge indication starts to illuminate, you
should replace the batteries or, in the case of rechargeable NiCd
batteries, recharge them.
Reset function
If the device operates abnormally or if you want to cancel all the
settings you have programmed, you can perform a system RESET
by pressing the "F" key whilst switching the walkie-talkie off. This
returns all functions to their factory settings.
Avoiding Interference
The maximum range of the Pocket Com PMR Fun is up to 2 km
(under ideal conditions). If transmission is affected by interference,

Retirer
l'émetteur-récepteur
portable Pocket Com PMR Fun
de son emballage.
Examiner l'extérieur de l'ap-
pareil pour vérifier qu'il n'a pas
subi de dommage.
