Inserting the Filters
Do not operate the vacuum cleaner before inserting all filters!
Insert all filters into the vacuum cleaner or control whether all filters and the per-
manent dust bag are inserted correctly. To prolong the service life of the filters
and to maintain maximum performance of the unit, clean the filters regularly.
1. To open the exhaust filter grille (O), press the button
with the thumb down and pull the filter grille out.
2. Remove the filter. This filter can be washed in water.
Make sure the filter is completely dry before you place
it into the vacuum cleaner.
3. Make sure after reinstallation that the grille locks com-
pletely.
1. Press the cover release button (K) down and lift the
housing lid as far as it will go in order to snap the lid.
Tilt the frame forwards before you take out the perma-
nent dust bag.
2. Remove the dust bag rail to empty the permanent dust
bag. By doing this, the permanent dust bag completely
opens. Empty the permanent dust bag outdoors. Only
tap out the dirt of the permanent dust bag. Do not wash it.
3. Fold the permanent dust bag along the punched pleats and press the pleats
down. Thread the dust bag rail through the pleats. Make sure the rail covers
the whole permanent dust bag in order to close the opening. Place the per-
manent dust bag into the frame and tilt the frame down.
1. Tilt the frame forwards and remove the permanent
dust bag.
2. Grasp the motor filter from the outer frame and pull it
out. This filter can be washed. Replace the filter if
necessary. Never wash it in the washer and let it air-
dry. Do not dry it in the dryer or over a radiator!
