Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunc-
tions, damage or physical injury:
 Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the
machine.
 Please read the instruction manual carefully and do use the
coffee maker with timer only according to this manual.
 The device must not be used by children from 0 – 8 of age. The
device can be used by children from 8 years and above, if they
are constantly supervised. The device can be used by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and/or knowledge when they have been given super-
vision or instruction concerning the safe use of the device and
understand the resulting risks. The device and its connecting
cable should be kept away from children younger than 8 years.
Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by children.
 Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with this device.
 The device is not intended for continuous professional operation.
The device is intended to be used in closed rooms only and in
similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices
and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in
hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed and
breakfast type environments. The use in any other way is not
considered as intended use.
 Only use the provided accessories.
 Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid and do not
use the device with wet hands.
 Do not use the unit outdoors or near gas flames, hot plates or
other hot objects. Never place the unit on hot surfaces.
 Place the coffee maker on a level surface during use. Do not
position the unit in a sink or on inclined surfaces.
 Please switch OFF the unit and unplug it before cleaning or when
not in use. Let the coffee maker cool down before cleaning.
