If there is still no free-line signal, it is possible that the connecting
cable between telephone and telephone receiver shows a manu-
facturer-specific assignment.

In this case, try and use a telephone of another manufacturer, if
you would like to use the telephone recording function.
• Windows NT does not support USB. Data transmission via USB is
not possible.
• Simultaneous transmission of other data via the USB port (e.g.
transmitting audio files between the Digital Voice Recorder and
the PC and scanning images simultaneously via an USB scanner)
might cause break-off or damaged audio files.
