Please note the following safety notes to avoid mal-
functions and damage:
Dispose of the packaging materials carefully; the plastic bags
may become a deadly toy for children.
Keep the kitchen timer out of the reach of children. It is not a
toy.
If you do not plan to use the kitchen timer for some time,
remove the batteries. Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit
batteries and do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable
batteries. Do not mix rechargeable batteries and non-
rechargeable batteries and use only batteries of the same type.
Do not expose the kitchen timer to direct sunlight, humidity, dirt,
high temperature, strong light or strong magnetic fields.
Do not disassemble the unit or attempt to repair it yourself. It
does not contain parts serviceable by you.
Inserting the Batteries
1. Use a suitable screwdriver and unscrew the battery compartment
screw. Insert three batteries of the type LR03 (AAA), observing
right polarity.
2. Tighten the battery compartment lid with the screw.
Using the Kitchen Timer
1. Press the button (3) in order to set the seconds. Press the button
(4) in order to set the minutes. By holding the buttons pressed,
the values will change rapidly. Time settings from 99 minutes and
59 seconds can be performed.
2. Press START button (5) in order to activate the timer. As long as
time is running out, the letters M and S will flash. When the time
has run to 0, the lid of the kitchen timer will lift up and the chicken
will "cluck".
