CAUTION Falling parts
If the collector is undersized, the chain may fall out and cause property dam-
age or bodily injury.
Make sure that the length of the chain does not exceed the capacity of the

collector.
Inspect the hoist regularly
• In case of jarring or rattling, inspect chain, chain wheel and chain guide with
respect to wear and damages.
• Make sure that the load chain is lubricated.
• Make sure that the load chain is not corroded, worn or damaged.

Emergency lowering of load in case of power drop-out

In order to lower the load safely in case of a cut-off in air supply, follow the in-
struction below:
Control-chain operated hoist:
Pull the handle (A) downwards.
Pendant-control operated hoist:
Pull the yoke (B) downwards.
