• In the case of installation above water level, with several suction pipes (e.g. for skimmers, bottom drain, cleaner connec-
tion) connect all pipes to a manifold with a dedicated gate valve and connect only one vertical pipe to the pump.
• The manifold must be below water level.
• If flexible pipes are used, reinforcing spirals must be fitted at the suction side to prevent cross-sectional reductions in the
pipes due to intake depression.
• Ensure that all suction lines have a slight slope to avoid air pockets.
