Cleaning and maintenance

a) Pull the mains plug and let the unit cool down completely before cleaning,
adjusting or replacing accessories and when the unit is not in use.
b) Use only non-corrosive cleaning agents for cleaning the surfaces.
c) Store the unit in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct
sunlight.
d) Do not spray the unit with a stream of water or immerse it in water.
e) Make sure that no water enters through the ventilation openings in the casing.
f) Clean the ventilation openings with a brush and compressed air.
g) Perform regular inspections of the unit checking technical fitness and any
damages.
h) Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
i) Do not use sharp and/or metal objects (e.g. wire brush or metal spatula) for
cleaning as they may damage the surface of the appliance material.
j) Do not clean the device with acidic substances, medical products, thinners,
fuel, oil or other chemicals as this may damage the device.
k) After 200-300 cycles of operation, check the tightness of the bolts connecting
the head with the pump housing.
l) If the pump is running slowly or inefficiently, it is possible that the hydraulic
fluid (oil) is used up or the amount of it is not enough.
• To fill it up or replace it, you should:
Place the cold or completely cooled down device on a flat, even and

stable surface.
• Connect the device to the power supply and press the trigger so that
the piston, meaning the movable jaw, moves all the way forward and
leave it in this position.
• Unscrew the hydraulic fluid service cap and fill the container with the
hydraulic fluid via the hole.
