· Attention: If you fill in too little milk (below the MIN-mark), the service life of the appliance can be
shortened. If you put too much milk in (above the MAX-mark of the chosen function), the milk can
boil over and cause scalding.
· Make sure that the lid is closed properly before switching on the appliance.
· Do not open the lid before mixing or foaming process has finished.
· Avoid smashing or kinking the power cord or having contact to hot surfaces or liquids and abrasion
on sharp edges.
· Do not allow the power cord to dangle and place the device in a way that no one can fall over
the cord.
Risk of burns or injury!
- Attention: Using the device results in high temperatures, only touch the device by the heat
resistant handle. Even after use there is residual heat. Risk of burns!
- After use, only place the milk jug on a heat-resistant coaster.
- During operation and afterwards when pouring, hot steam can escape. Make sure that the
spout is always pointing away from you or other people.
- Do not place any objects, e.g. a spoon, on the heating plate. When the heating plate is
switched on, objects that are in direct contact with the surface are heated.
- Do not carry or move the appliance as long as it is in operation and as long as it is hot.
· After use clean all parts which have got in contact with food as described under chapter
"Cleaning and care".
· Remove the mains plug every time after use, and also:
- before changing accessories, which are in move during operation
- if the appliance is not under your direct supervision
- before putting the milk jug on or off the base
- in the event of malfunctions whilst in operation
- every time that it is being cleaned
Always pull on the plug and not on the cord.
· Never immerse the base, the cord or the plug in water or other liquids. Do not clean the appliance
in the dishwasher.
· Never use the appliance if you discover damage, if water has penetrated the housing or if the
appliance has been dropped.
· Check the power cord before every use for damage. If the power cord is damaged, it must
definitely be replaced by the manufacturer, his service agent or similar qualified and authorized
experts in order to prevent hazards.
· Never attempt to open or repair the appliance yourself. In the event of a malfunction, have the
appliance repaired by qualified experts only! Contact your authorized dealer whenever the
appliance is in need of repairs.
· Use original accessories only.
